trex | |
caster sugar | |
low fat milk | |
plain flour | |
bicarbonate of soda | |

Gently heat syrup. treacle, trex, sugar and milk until trex has melted. Remove form heat.
Place flour, bicarb, ginger and oatmeal in bowl. Make well in centre and add egg and melted ingredients. Stir well and beat with wodden spoon until batter consistency.
Pour into tin fo 45-50 mins. Leave to cool in tin.
