Sift flour with baking powder and salt
Cream mar with sugar until light and fluffy. Add well beaten eggas a little at a time and beat in thoroughly. Stir in flour alternately with milk and flavouring.
Pour mixture into 2 8" sandwich tins
Bake 25-30 mins
When cool sandwich toether with frosting, then cover top and sides. Before icing sets cover thickly with coconut
