2 c. | Alfredo sauce |
1/2 c. | Ricotta cheese |
1/4 c. | Mozzarella cheese |
3 tbsp | Fontina cheese, shredded |
1 tsp | garlic pepper seasoning |
1/2 tsp | garlic powder |
Ziti topping | |
3 c. | Mozzarella cheese, shredded |
1/2 c. | Italian or panco bread crumbs |
3 tbsp | Romano cheese, grated |
3 tbsp | Parmesan cheese, grated |
1 tbsp | fresh garlic, chopped |
3 tbsp | vegetable oil |
3 tbsp | fresh flat leaf Italian parsley, chopped |
Remaining ingredients | |
1 lb | dry Ziti pasta |
1 c. | Mozzarella cheese, shredded |
Directions
1. Prepare the Ziti sauce.
2. Combining all ingredients for Ziti sauce in large bowl; cover and refrigerate until ready to use.
3. Prepare Ziti topping.
4. In a med size bowl, whisk together the first 4 ingredients for Ziti topping.
5. Add garlic, oil, and parsley and mix throughly blended. Cover and refrigerate until ready to use.
6. When ready to prepare the whole dish.
7. Preheat oven to 375f. Spray a 13x9 baking dish with nonstick spray.
8. Prepare pasta according to package.
9. Pour 1/2 c. Of prepared Ziti sauce into prepared dish, spread around dish evenly.
10. Drain pasta, pour pasta into remaining Ziti sauce. Mix. Pour into baking dish.
11. Spread 1 c. Shredded mozzarella over pasta
12. Top mozzarella with prepared Ziti topping. Spread evenly.
13. Place pan on center rack and bake until top is golden brown and cheese is bubbling. About 30-40 min
14. Remove and serve immediately.
