Full of beans/chili plus--Brazilian black Beans and rice

4 cups | water |
4 cloves | garlic whole |
1 | onion whole |
1 cup | chopped sweet onion |
1 | sweet bell pepper chopped |
1 clove | garlic minced |
1. Cup long grain rice uncooked | |
2 cups | water T |
Nonfat cooking spray |
Salsa homemade or store-bought
In a large pot cover the dry beans with lots of water. Soak overnite or at least twelve hours change water and bring to a boil. Reduce heat add garlic and onion cook two hours during the last thirty minutes star the water for the rice
In a skillet coated with cooking spray. Sauté the chopped onion and green pepper add minced garlic
WHen the beans are done remove the whole clove and garlic
Serve over Cooke rice your favorite salsa
