Juicer Pulp Pasta Sauce

2 1/2 cups | juicer pulp, (2 cups tomato pulp, 1/2 cup carrot pulp) |
1 tsp | garlic |
garlic pulp, alternative | |
1/4 cup | olive oil |
6 - 8 | mushrooms |
1/2 | onion, sliced |
1 15 ounce can | tomato sauce |
1 tsp | oregano or other Italian seasoning |
Salt | |
pepper to taste |
Hot sauce or peppers to taste
Directions:
Heat up olive oil in a large pot.
Add the garlic and cook over the low heat for a minute or so.
Add mushrooms and onions and cook for a few more minutes.
Add tomato sauce, juicer pulp, oregano, peppers and salt.
Bring to a boil and then reduce the heat.
Cook for at least a half an hour to an hour to let the flavors meld.
You can add ground beef to the sauce after draining it.
Makes about 5 cups of sauce.
