Apple Crisp

| 1 cup | light brown sugar, packed |
| 1/2 cup | flour |
| 1/2 teaspoon | nutmeg |
| 1/2 teaspoon | cinnamon |
| 1/4 teaspoon | salt |
| 1/2 stick | butter |
| 5 | apples sliced |
Mix flour, spices, salt and sugar. Cuchds? in butter until mixture is crumbly. Spread apple slices over bottom of buttered 8 or 9 inch square pan. Sprinkle crumble mixture over apples. Pat lightly with fingers. Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 40 minutes or until apples are tender. Serve warm with cream or ice cream.
