1/4 cup | cut up vermicelli |
1 cup | uncle bens original rice |
2 1/4 cups | low salt chicken or low salt vegetable broth |
1/2 cup | frozen mixed vegetables or just peas. |
1/2 teaspoon | ground onion |
1/4 tsp | ground garlic |
1/2 teaspoon | chili powder |
1/2 teaspoon | cumin |

Smidgen of spices such as parsley, turmeric, oregano, thyme, and or paprika
Sage ground onion and ground garlic chili powder
Soak the dried spices in the chicken broth
Cook the vermicelli in butter until golden brown
Add rice broth veges to golden vermicelli bring to a boil. Adjust to low heat and cover stirring occasionally about twenty minutes
