Creamed chix with almonds

3 oz | butter |
3/4 cloves | flour |
1 pint | milk |
1 pint | chix broth |
1 | lemon juice |
some gherkins | |
3 tbsp | mayo |
3/4 cup(s) | tasty cheese |
1 cup(s) | breadcrumbs |
2 tbsp | melted butter |
4 oz | almonds |
Melt butter, add flour salt and pepper. Cook. Add milk and stock to thickened. Add lemon jiuce, mayo, gherkins, cheese and chix. Pour into greased casserole. and top with buttered crumbs. Place in a moderate oven about 400 to heat through and brown the crumbs. Serve with topping | |
