Barbecue in the Burgers

2 lb | ground beef |
1 bunch | scallion or green onions, (chopped) |
3 tbsp. | Tomato paste |
2-3 | garlic cloves, (minced) |
1 tbsp. | Brown sugar |
1 tbsp. | Soy sauce |
3-4 tsp. | Chili powder |
1 tbsp. | Dijon mustard |
1/2 tsp. | Black pepper |
1 1/2 tsp. | Kosher salt |
1. Add all ingredients, except salt, to a large bowl.
2. Combine ingredients by lightly folding with fingers.
3. Shape into 6-8 patties, sprinkle both sides with salt and grill or pan fry until juices run clear when pierced with a fork.
