119 Oatmeal Cookies/ Flag Cookie

| 3/4 cup | canola oil |
| 1/2 cup | brown sugar |
| 1/2 cup | sugar |
| 2 | eggs |
| 1 tsp | vanilla |
| 1 cup | all purpose flour |
| 1 tsp | baking soda |
| 1 tsp | cinnamon |
| 1/2 tsp | salt |
| 2 cups | old fashion oats |
| 1/2 cup | crasins |
| 1 cup | walnuts |
| 4 tbsp | flaxseed |
1. Heat oven to 350 degrees
2. Beat oil and sugars together
3. Add eggs and vanilla and beat well
4. Add combined flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt; mix well
5. Stir in oats and crasins/walnuts. Add flaxseed if desired
6. Drop onto cookie sheet (or flag shape)
7. Bake ten to twelve minutes or until golden brown
Yield: 2 dozen cookies
Flag cookie: add frosting ( 1 pkg 8 oz cream cheese to every 1/2 cup powdered sugar and dash of vanilla), strawberry and blueberries for stars and stripes
