Mike's bread recipe

Source:
Loaf of sour dough bread
¾ cup | butter |
¼ cup | chopped green onions |
1 ½ tablespoons | mustard |
Garlic powder, (optional but I love it so I use it)
8-16 slices | jack cheese, ( you can use any cheese – I want to try it with pepper jack ) |
Preheat oven to 400. Slice bread down the center long ways but don’t cut all the way thru, then open bread like a book. Mix butter, onion, mustard together and spread on both sides of bread. Sprinkle garlic powder on butter to desired taste. Lay cheese on one side of bread then close bread. Depending on length of bacon, cut in half or thirds (probably in half) and lay across the bread, you will probably put 15-20 pieces of bacon on the bread. When bread comes out of oven, you will be cutting between slices of bacon so each bread slice has a piece of bacon (make sense?). Wrap in tin foil and put in oven for about 20-25 minutes.
