Hoisin Cocktail Meatballs

2 tablespoons | hoisin sauce |
1 tablespoon | reduced-sodium soy sauce |
1 teaspoon | sesame oil |
1/4 cup | dry bread crumbs |
3 tablespoons | chopped green onions |
3 tablespoons | minced fresh parsley |
2 | garlic cloves, minced |
1 teaspoon | minced fresh gingerroot |
1-1/2 pounds | lean ground beef |
SAUCE: | |
1/4 cup | rice vinegar |
1/4 cup | hoisin sauce |
2 tablespoons | water |
2 tablespoons | sesame oil |
2 tablespoons | reduced-sodium soy sauce |
1 tablespoon | honey |
2 | garlic cloves, minced |
1 teaspoon | minced fresh gingerroot |
Directions
In a large bowl, combine the first eight ingredients. Crumble beef over mixture and mix well.
Shape into 32 meatballs. Place in a 13-in. x 9-in. baking dish coated with cooking spray. Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 20-25 minutes or until meat is no longer pink.
Meanwhile, in a small saucepan, combine the sauce ingredients; heat through. Serve with meatballs. Yield: 32 appetizers.
