    3  pork steaks, sliced and flattened into 8 or 9 pieces
      Flour
      salt
      pepper
    2 oz  butter
    1 large  onion, chopped
    8 oz  sliced mushrooms
    3 tbsp  Ploughman's Pickle or similar relish, chutney
    2 large glasses  white wine
    1/2 glass  water
    1/2 pt  cream

Coat pork pieces in seasoned flour.

Sauté in butter.

Add chopped onion and mushrooms and cook until onion soft and mushrooms cooked.

Add pickle, wine and water. Cover and cook over low heat about 20 minutes.

Add cream just before serving.

Serve over rice.
