Apple Pie

| 1/8 tsp | salt |
| 1/2 tsp | cinnamon |
| 6C | apples |
Line 9" pie pan with crust. Mix sugar, flour, salt and cinnamon; add apples and mix thoroughly. Set aside. Heap apples over and dot with 2 Tb butter. Apply top crust. Cut slits and seal edges. Sprinkle with sugar. Dot with butter on top.
Bake 400* for 25 minutes, reduce heat to 350*. Bake until juice bubbles up through slits.
