Clam Dip
Nb persons: 4
1 Medium | Onion, minced |
8 Tablespoons | Butter |
1 Medium | Red Pepper, minced |
3 Tablespoons | parsley |
1 Can | clams, minced, with juice |
3 Tablespoons | lemon juice |
1 1/2 Tablespoons | oregano |
1 Clove | garlic, minced |
3/4 Cup | Bread Crumbs |
1 Tablespoon | parsley flakes |
Simmer clams with their juice and lemon juice for 15 minutes.
Separately, saute butter, onion, red pepper, oregano, garlic, parsley. Slowly add bread crumbs and clams to onion mixture.
Butter a 9 inch square baking dish and pour mixture in.
Bake at 350F for 20-25 minutes, until bubbly and golden.
Serve with a variety of crackers.
