RHUBARB COBBLER

    5 C.  RHUBARB, CUT IN PIECES-put in bottom of 8x12 buttered pan
CREAM:
    3/4 c.  sugar 3 T butter
    1 tsp.  vanilla
SIFT
    1 c.  flour 1 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp.  salt 1/2 c. milk
Spread this over rhubarb. MIX AND SPRINKLE OVER BATTER:
    1 C.  SUGAR
    1 HEAPING TABLESPOON  CORN STARCH

POUR 3/4 C. BOILING WATER OVER ALL.
BAKE 350 DEGREES FOR 1 HOUR
