You can freeze these morsels, unbaked, up to one week. To serve, let stand 10 minutes. Remove crusts, quarter slices, and bake as directed.
1/2 lb.  cooked ham, coarsely chopped
    1 small  onion, quartered
8 oz.  extra-sharp Cheddar cheese, coarsely chopped
    1 1/2 Tb.  prepared horseradish
    1/2 tsp.  salt
    1/2 tsp.  hot pepper sauce
    1/4 tsp.  pepper
1 (16 oz.) loaf  very thinly sliced sandwich bread
      paprika

Position knife blade in food processor bowl; add ham and onion. Process until finely chopped. Remove from bowl; set aside. Add Cheddar cheese to processor bowl; process until finely chopped. Return ham and onion to processor bowl. Add horseradish and next 3 ingredients; process just until mixture begins to form a ball. Spread about 1 Tb. mixture on each bread slice. Place slices on ungreased baking sheets; cover and freeze about 20 minutes or until spread is firm. Remove crusts; cut each slice into 4 squares. Sprinkle with paprika. Bake at 400 degrees for 12-14 minutes. Remove from oven; serve immediately.
