6 Ounces | Milk Chocolate Chips |
1 Pound | C&H Pure Cane Powdered Sugar, (3.75 cups) |
1/3 Cup | Milk, evaporated (2.66 ounces) |
1 Teaspoon | Vanilla |
1/4 Teaspoon | Salt |
1/4 Cup | Butter, (1/2 stick) softened |
1 Cup | Nuts, coarsely chopped |
Chop | Nuts |
Soften Butter.
In top of double boiler over simmering water or mircowave,
melt chocolate.
Beat in Sugar, Evaporated Milk, Vanilla, Salt, and Butter.
Stir in Nuts.
Press into lightly buttered 8-inch square baking dish.
Chill to set.
Cut into squares.
Yield: Two pounds.
