1 1/4 c. | coarsely chopped walnuts |
1 c. | packed brown sugar |
1 c. | water |
2 tsp. | ground cinnamon |

Combine all ingredients in a large microwave-safe dish. Microwave on High 20 minutes or until apples are soft, stirring occasionally. Serve over oatmeal or pancakes.
