    1 c  shortening
    2 c  sugar
    4-5  eggs
    2 1/4 c  flour
    1/2 c  self rising flour
    1/2 c  sweet milk
    1 c  sour cream
    2 tsp  vanilla

Cream shortening and sugar 10 minutes.
Add eggs and beat slowly 1 minute
Add 1 c flour and beat 1 minute
Add remaining flour and milk a little at a time, mixing until creamy.
Add vanilla.

Grease and flour tube pan, pour into tube pan

Bake 1 hour at 325*; increase temp to 350* and bake 10-20 minutes.
