    12  slices bacon, cut in half
    25  dried apricot halves
      
    Dipping Sauce:  
    1/2 c.  red plum jam
    1/4 c.  soy sauce

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Wrap one half slice of bacon around an apricot half, securing with toothpick. Repeat with remaining bacon and apricots. Place on ungreased baking sheet and bake 20-25 minutes, turning once. Bacon should be brown and crisp.

While twists are baking, combine jam and soy sauce in a small saucepan. Cook over low heat just until jam melts; set aside. Drain twists on paper towels. Serve warm or at room temperature with dipping sauce.
