Huckleberry pie baked | |
3 cups | huckleberries |
1/2 tsp | almond extract |
1 cup | grated apple |
1 cup | sugar |
1 pastry for dbl crust pie | |
2 tbs | flour |
Dash | Salt |
Place ingredients in bowl and mix well. Pour into unbaked pie shell (place tin foil on oven rack to protect your oven as the pie may bubble over edge). Cover with top crust and bake @375* approx 1 hour (or until golden brown). Fruit should be bubbly. If crust is getting too dark, cover edges with foil.
