Greek sauce hot dog

1/2 lb | ground sirloin or ground beef |
1 small | onion finely chopped |
15 oz | chicken stock |
15 oz | tomato sauce |
1/2 tsp | cayenne pepper |
1/2 tsp | ground cloves |
1/2 tsp | ground cinnamon |
1/2 tsp | oregano |
1/2 tsp | paprika |
1/2 tsp | allspice |
1/2 tsp | cumin |
1 tbs | garlic powder |
1 tbs | onion powder |
1 tbs | butter |
Directions
In a large skillet over medium heat, brown ground sirloin or ground beef. Drain off any excess grease then set aside.
In a large saucepan, add the remaining 13 ingredients. Stir and bring to a mild boil. Let simmer for 30 minutes to thicken.
Remove from heat and stir in browned meat.
Place mixture into a blender and puree.
Sauce may be used immediately or freeze for later.
