ROASTED BRUSSEL SPROUTS

Roasted Brussel Sprouts | |
2 pounds | brussels sprouts |
1 tbsp | butter |
1 tbsp | canola oil |
1/2 tsp | salt |
1/4 tsp | pepper |
Cut an X in the core of each sprout. Place 1" water in saucepan. Add sprouts and bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer 5-6 minutes. Drain. Add the remaining ingredients and toss to coat.
Arrange sprouts in single layer in a 5" x 10" pan. Bake uncovered at 425* for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
