APRICOT COBBLER

Apricot Cobbler | |
10 cups | fresh apricots, washed and pitted |
3/4 cup | sugar |
1 pinch | salt |
1 tsp | cinnamon |
Topping | |
1 cup | flour |
1/2 cup | sugar |
1 1/2 tsps | baking powder |
1/2 cup | milk |
1/4 cup | soft butter |
Sprinkle on topping: | |
2 tbsps | sugar |
1/4 tsp | nutmeg |
1/4 teaspoon | cinnamon |
Toss apricots with sugar, salt, and cinnamon. Pour into a 9"x 13" casserole dish. Bake for 10- 15 minutes while preparing the topping. To make topping, combine all ingredients together and stir until lumps are gone. Spoon over the hot apricots. | |
Sprinkle | sugar, nutmeg, and cinnamon on top of topping. |
Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
