    2 gallons  ice cream, softened
    1 box  brownie mix
    1 pack  Oreo cookies
    1 container  cool whip

Make brownies in a jelly roll pan, with greased wax paper between the pan and brownie mix.

Take the plate from a large springform pan, and press down on the baked brownies in the pan, "cutting" a crust bottom for the cake, slightly wider than the size of the plate. Place the crust inside the bottom of a springform pan, pushing up the sides.

Scoop out most of one gallon of ice cream and spread on top of the brownie crust.

Break up about 1/2 the package of Oreos and layer those on top of the ice cream.

Scoop out most of the second gallon of ice cream and spread on top of the Oreos.

Break up the rest of the oreos, and spread on top of cake.

Freeze until firm (1-2 hours), then remove from springform pan; Spread coolwhip around circumference of cake, and freeze for another hour.

Cut cake into slices, and put back into freezer till ready to serve.
