Apple syrup

| 1 c. | granulated sugar |
| 2 Tbs. | cornstarch |
| 1/2 tsp | pumpkin pie spice |
| 2 c. | apple cider or juice |
| 2 Tbs | lemon juice |
| 1/4 c. | butter |
Mix dry ingredients in a medium saucepan. Add juices and bring to a boil. Boil one minute, stirring constantly. Off heat, add butter and stir until combined.
