Whiskey Cake

Preheat oven at 350. Grease & flour 10" tube pan & place cherries cut side down in cake pan & set aside.
    1 Package  pineapple supreme cake mix.
    1 Package  toasted coconut instant pudding.
    1 Cup  chopped nuts
    1 Cup  milk
    4  Eggs
    1/2 Cup  oil
Beat eggs well, add oil & milk & beat well. Add cake mix & pudding, beat 2 minutes. Add nuts & mix well. Pour batter carefully over the cherries. Bake 45 - 50 minutes. Topping
    1 Stick  butter
    1/2 Cup  sugar
    1/3 Cup  whiskey

Heat butter until melted on low heat, take off a
& add sugar and whiskey, beat and cover. Stir once in a while so it doesn't form a film. When cake is done pour 1/2 of topping on cake. Let it set 15 minutes and turn cake out of pan and pour rest of topping on cake.
