60 Minute Rolls

3-1/2 to 4-1/2 cups | flour |
1/4 cup | sugar |
1 tsp | salt |
2 pkg. | yeast |
1 cup | milk |
1/2 cup | water |
1/4 cup | oil |
Preheat oven to about 100 degrees for rising and turn off.
In large bowl, thoroughly mix 1-1/2 cups flour, sugar, salt and yeast. Combine milk, water and oil in pan and heat until warm (120-130 degrees). Gradually add to dry ingredients and beat 2 minutes at medium speed with electric mixer, scraping bowl occasionally. Add remaining 1/2 cup flour and beat 2 minutes at high speed. Stir in enough remaining flour to make soft dough. Turn out on floured board and knead 5 minutes. Place in greased bowl, bringing greased side up. Cover and rise in warmed oven about 15-30 minutes. Turn out on floured board. Divide into 24 pieces. Shape dough and place on greased baking sheet or muffin tins. Cover and let rise again for about 15-30 minutes.
Bake 425 degree oven about 12 minutes.
