Broccoli and cheese potato soup

| 4 slices | bacon cooked and crumbled |
| 2 cups | frozen broccoli cuts |
| 2 1/2 cups | water |
| 2 tablespoons | minced onion |
| 2 teaspoons | chicken flavored bullion |
| 1/2 teaspoon | garlic powder |
| 1 1/4 cup | instant potato flakes |
| 1 1/2 cup | milk |
| 4 ounces | shredded cheddar cheese |
Combine broccoli, water, onion,bullion, garlic powder in large pot
Mix well bring to a boil, reduce heat, cover and simmer 5 minutes
Stir in potato flakes, milk, cheese and bacon
Cook over low heat until cheese is melted stirring occasionally
Do not boil
Serves 4
