Banana Chocolate Chips Cake (Ponderosa)

1 cup | butter |
2 cups | white sugar |
2 | eggs, beaten |
1 teaspoon | vanilla |
1 1/2 cups (4) | ripe bananas, mashed |
3 cups | plain flour |
2 teaspoon | baking powder |
2 teaspoon | baking soda |
1 cup | sour cream |
1 teaspoon | cinnamon |
1/2 cup | brown sugar |
1cup | chocolate chips |
Preheat oven to 160 degrees celcius
Grease & line a oblong cake tin (9 x 13")
In a small bowl, mix cinnamon & brown sugar
In a large bowl, cream butter & white sugar
Add eggs, vanilla and banana
In another bowl, sift flour, baking powder & soda
Add to the banana mixture alternately with sour cream, ending with flour mix
Pour half the batter into the pan
Sprinkle with 1/2 cinnamon mix & 1/2 choc chops
Pour the other half batter
Top with the rest of cinnamon & choc chips
Bake for 45-55 minutes
