Martha's pound cake

| Preheat oven to 350 Cream together till fluffy | |
| 1 1/2 blocks | butter |
| 1 1/2 cups | coarse sugar |
Add and beat in one by one 6 eggs
Fold in vanilla, a little salt and 2cups all purpose flour
Pour into pan and bake +- 50 mins.
My variation - place chopped apples on top before baking
