1 cup | cider vinegar |
red wine vinegar, alternative | |
1/4 cup | Worcestershire sauce |
1/4 cup | soy sauce |
1 cup | packed light or dark brown sugar |
2 tablespoons | dry mustard |
4 tablespoons | chili powder, (or to taste) |
1 tablespoon | grated, peeled fresh Ginger or 1 teaspoon ground |
2 cloves | garlic, minced |
2 tablespoons | vegetable oil |
3 slices | lemon |
Simmer, stirring often for 5, minutes. Sauce will keep up to 2 weeks covered & refrigerated.
