    1-1/2 cups  Ketchup
    1 cup  cider vinegar
      red wine vinegar, alternative
    1/4 cup  Worcestershire sauce
    1/4 cup  soy sauce
    1 cup  packed light or dark brown sugar
    2 tablespoons  dry mustard
    4 tablespoons  chili powder, (or to taste)
    1 tablespoon  grated, peeled fresh Ginger or 1 teaspoon ground
    2 cloves  garlic, minced
    2 tablespoons  vegetable oil
    3 slices  lemon

Simmer, stirring often for 5, minutes. Sauce will keep up to 2 weeks covered & refrigerated.
