Apple Cinnamon-Crusted Oatmeal

2 cups | uncooked steel-cut oats |
1/4 cup | evaporated cane juice |
1/4 cup | wheat germ |
1 teaspoon | ground cinnamon |
1 cup | minced apple, about one small apple |
1. Cook the oats according to the package directions. In a small bowl, combine the cane juice, wheat germ, and cinnamon. Set aside.
2. Divide the cooked oatmeal among 8 serving bowls.
3. Layer 2 tablespoons of the minced apple and top with 1 tablespoon of the cane juice, wheat germ, and cinnamon mixture on top of the oatmeal and serve.
