Orange Cake

      ORANGE CAKE
Ingredients
    1 ¾ cup  cake flour?1 ¾ cup castor sugar
    ½ cup  oil?6 egg yolks
    1 tsp.  vanilla?6 egg whites stiffened
    1 ½ tsp.  baking powder
    Rind of 1  orange finely grated
    ¾ cup  fresh squeezed orange juice

Method:
Mix all the above ingredients together except egg whites. Beat egg whites until stiff then pour egg white into cake mixture folding in with a METAL spoon. Pour into lightly greased pan (I use the non stick one with a hole in the middle) and bake at 150 – 160 degrees for 1 hour. Remove and tip out. Let cool. When cooled sprinkle icing sugar on top of the cake.
