Chocolate chip cookies

| 3oz | butter, softened. 3oz caster sugar. 3oz light brown soft sugar |
| 1/4tsp | vanilla essence. 1egg, beaten. 6oz plain flour sifted |
| 1/2 tsp | bicarbonate of soda. 4oz plain chocolate chips. |
Oven gas 4/180c/350f. Serves 30.
Grease 2 large baking trays. Mix together butter, caster sugar and brown sugar. Add essence and beat in eggs. Add sifted four and bicarb and stir well. Stir in chocolate chips. Drop tsp size onto sheets. Bake for 10 mins and cool.
