Nb persons: 0

Preparation time:
Total time:
Source:
4 dozen wings | |
1 bottle | Franks hot sauce |
1 bottle | Kraft Blue Cheese Dressing |
1 stick | butter |
Garlic powder to taste,, (1 - 2 teaspoons) | |
Crisco for deep frying |
Heat oil to 350 - 375 degrees.
Melt the butter slowly with as much garlic as you like. Add the Frank's sauce. When blended, turn heat way down. Don't mix in blue cheese until ready to coat wings, otherwise it will separate. If & when it does, use a wire wisk to blend it back together.
Rinse & pat dry all of the wings.
Toss 6 - 8 wings at a time in sauce & coat evenly. Remove & shake off any excess sauce & put the wings into the hot oil (careful of splattering). After about 3 minutes, remove wings to paper towel lined cookie sheet to drain & cool. Start a new batch. Once all the wings are finished, start the process all over again. Re-coat the wings & re-fry, this is what makes them nice & crusty & tender.
Last step before serving - Toss the wings in the remainder of the sauce & coat evenly.
