Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Cookies

3/4 cup | Margarine |
Butter | |
1/4 cup | brown sugar |
1/4 cup | granulated sugar |
2 lg | eggs |
1/2 tsp | vanilla extract |
1-1/4 cups | Quick Rolled Oats, processed in blender. |
1 cup | All Purpose Flour |
1/2 tsp | Baking Powder |
1/2 tsp | Baking Soda |
1/4 tsp | salt |
1 cup | Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips |
3/4 cup | Almonds, chopped |
2 baking squares Dark Chocolate, grated.
Cream first 3 ingredients. Add eggs, beating well. Add vanilla. Beat until smooth.
Combine next 5 ingredients in a separate bowl. Add to margarine mixture.
Add last 3 ingredients. Mix well. Roll into balls. Space balls 2 inches apart on parchment lined cookie sheet. Bake 325F for 8 minutes. Let stand on cookie sheet 5 minutes before removing.
