8oz | plain flour |
4oz | butter |
4oz | sugar |
1 | egg |
1/2 tsp | baking powder |
Oven. 180c
Cream butter and sugar, add flour, baking powder and whisked egg by degrees. Work til smooth and fairly stiff. Roll out thinly and cut into rounds and prick with a fork.
Bake for 20 mins when biscuits turn golden brown.
