Chocolate and raspberry brownie cake

12oz | dark chocolate, broken into small pieces |
7oz | butter |
3 med | eggs |
9oz | dark brown sugar |
3 1/2oz | plain flour, sifted |
3oz | ground almonds |
1tsp | baking powder |
5 oz | raspberries |
Oven gas 3/170c/160c fan. Serves 14
Melt chocolate and butter over a pan of simmering water.
In a large bowl mix eggs and sugar with a whisk til light. Then add chocolate mix and combine. Fold in flour, almonds and baking powder. When smooth add raspberries fold again and spoon into prepared 9" tin and bake for 50 mins-1 hour til edges feel firm and centre is still a little squishy. Remove and allow to cool.
