V8 Beef Stew

1 pound | cubed beef |
1 or 2 | chopped potatoes |
3 | chopped carrots |
1/2 cup | chopped onion |
1 can | corn |
2 cans | peas |
1 can | lima beans |
1 20oz can | petite diced tomatoes |
anything else on hand | |
1 tsp | mustard seed, (optional) |
1/2 head | cabbage |
3 1/2 cups | V8 juice |
2 tablespoons | all-purpose flour |
2 tablespoons | oil |
Directions
1. Coat beef with flour and brown in oil in a large skillet.
2. Place all vegetables in bottom of crockpot.
3. Top with meat.
4. Add V8 juice.
5. Cover; bring to boil, reduce heat and stir often
6. Cook at least an hour.
