Fried Squash

Ingredients | |
3 medium | Yellow squash |
2 large | Eggs |
1/2 cup | Milk, (buttermilk may be substituted) |
1 cup | Flour |
1/3 cup | Cornmeal |
Instructions
1. Peel and cut yellow squash into ΒΌ inch slices.
2. Combine eggs and milk in a bowl or Zip-lock bag.
3. Combine flour and cornmeal in a Zip-lock bag.
4. Coat squash slices in the liquid mixture.
5. Completely coat each slice with the dry mixture..
6. Fry in pan of oil until brown, turn, and continue to fry.
7. Salt & serve
