Chocolate Almond Bundt Cake

1 box | Deep chocolate or Devil's Food Cake mix, (Duncan Hines) |
4 ounce | Instant chocolate pudding |
3/4 cup | Sour cream |
1/2 cup | Vegetable oil |
1/2 cup | Water |
1/2 cup | Almonds, (chopped) toasted |
1/4 cup | Mayonnaise |
4 | Eggs |
3 tablespoon | Almond Liquor |
1 teaspoon | Almond extract |
1 cup | Chocolate chips |
-- GLAZE -- | |
1 cup | Powdered sugar, (sifted) |
2 tablespoon | Milk |
1 teaspoon | Almond extract |
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°.
2. Grease 10 inch bundt pan and dust with cocoa.
3. Place all ingredients except chocolate chips in large bowl and beat for two minutes with electric mixer on medium speed.
4. Mix in chocolate chips.
5. Pour into prepared pan.
6. Bake 50-55 minutes or until cake tests done.
7. Cool on rack 10 minutes before removing from pan.
GLAZE
1. Mix all ingredients thoroughly in small bowl.
2. Let stand at room temperature until ready to glaze cake.
Place warm cake on serving dish and drizzle with glaze.
Garnish with toasted almonds.
