Ingredients
1. 1 cup Sugee flour ( roasted )
2. 11/2 cups sugar
3. Water – 2½ cups
4. 1 cup evaporated milk
4. 1 cup Ghee
5. 8 Cashew nuts
6. 4 Pistachio
7. 4 almonds
8. 4 Raisins
9. 2 Cardamoms
10. Pinch of Kesari colouring
11. Salt to taste
Method
1. Dry roast the rava till golden brown colour and keep it aside.
2. Add 2 tsp of ghee in the same pan and roast cashew nuts, pista, badam, kismis and cardamoms till they turn into golden brown colour and keep it aside.
3. Boil 21/2 cups of water, add evaporated milk, sugar, salt and a pinch of kesari colour.Add rava gradually and keep stirring to prevent from lumps forming, for 2 mins. Add the remaining ghee, cardamom powder and combined well, until the mixture leaves the side of the pan.
4. Press mixture down with a banana leaf and allow to cool before slicing.
Garnish with roasted nuts and serve hot.
Note:
Fry the nuts in ghee then break into small pieces.
Fry the cardamoms in ghee and powder it.
