12oz | self raising flour |
Pinch | salt |
2tsp | Ginger |
2tsp | ground cinnamon |
6oz | margarine |
8oz | black treacle |
6oz | soft brown sugar |
2 | eggs |
1/4 pint | milk |
Oven. Gas3/160C/325F
Grease and line 8"square cake tin. Sieve flour, salt and spices. Warm the fat and treacle until melts. Add dry ingredients with the sugar and the eggs. Beat well adding milk gradually. Pour into tin and bake for 1 1/2 hours.
