Cheesy chilli pots

1lb | lean minced beef. 1tbsp corn oil |
1large | onion, chopped. 397gcan tomatoes |
2tbsp | tomato puree. 440g red kidney beans, drained |
1tsp | hot chilli powder. 1tsp hot curry powder |
Salt to taste 4ozcheddar cheese, grated
Heat oil add beef and onions and fry over med heat for about 15 mins, stirring frequently. Add tomatoes and cut up with a knife, the stir in puree, red kidney beans, chilli and curry powder. Cover and simmer for 30 mins, stirring occasionally. Add salt and mix well. Divide mixture evenly between 4. Top each with cheese and place under hot grill until cheese is melted.
Serve with crisp green salad and crusty French bread.
Can make the day before.
