Potatoes Rancheros
Nb persons: 5
1/2 lb. | lean ground beef |
1 | box, (4.9oz)Betty Crocker Au Gratin Potatoes |
2 1/4 cups | boiling water |
2/3 cup | milk |
1/2 | packet of taco seasoning |
1 cup | shredded cheddar cheese, (4oz) |
1 cup | coarsely crushed tortilla chips |
1. Heat oven to 400f
2. Cook beef in 10inch skillet over medium heat 8 to 10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until brown; drain.
3. Stir together potatoes,sauce mix, boiling water and milk in ungreased 2-quart casserole.
4. Mix taco seasoning into shredded cheese
5. Stir in beef and 1/2 cup of the cheese.
6. Bake uncovered about 30min or until top is golden brown. Sprinkle chips over casserole; sprinkle remaining cheese over chips. Bake 3-5 mins longer or until cheese is melted.
7. Let stand 2 minutes before serving.
