Espresso Chocolate Tiramisu

3/4 cup | sugar |
2/3 cup | espresso vodka |
8 large | egg yolks |
1 500g | container mascarpone cheese |
1 250g | package cream cheese |
1 cup | chilled whipping cream |
1 package | gelatine |
3/4 cup | strong coffee |
1/3 cup | kahlua |
1 package | ladyfinger biscuits |
2 Tablespoons | shaved chocolate |
Whisk sugar, vodka, and egg yolks, and gelatine over a water bath. Cool completley.
Beat mascarpone and cream cheese in mixer until smooth. Fold mascarpone mixture into yolk mixture. Beat whipping cream to soft peaks. Fold cream into mascarpone mixture.
Mix cooled coffee and kahlua together. Dunk one one biscuit at a time into the liquid. Place in the bottom of a 8 inch cheesecake pan. Repeat until the bottom of the pan is covered. Spoon half the mascarpone over biscuits. Dust with chocolate shavings. Repeat with another layer of cookies, then cream. Dust with chocolate. Cover and refrigerate overnight.
