Strawberry Ice-Cream Cake Ring

1 1/4 cup | flour |
1 1/2 cup | castor sugar |
4 | eggs |
1 1/2 tsp | baking powder |
3/4 cup | oil |
1/2 cup (minced) | strawberries |
1/2 litre | strawberry flavored ice-cream, sauce |
1 cup | cream |
Strawberries for garnishing
Method:
1.Beat eggs until foamy.
2.Add sugar and beat well.
3.Fold the flour and baking powder in egg mixture.
4.Mix in oil and half of strawberry sauce.
5.Grease a tube pan and pour the mixture in it.
6.Bake in a moderate oven for 45 minutes.
7.Cool the cake and make it follow by scraping from the centre.
8.Beat strawberry ice-cream and mix in half of cream and minced strawberries.
9.Pour in the cake ring and freeze for 2 hours.
10.Turn the cake on a plate and decorate with whipped cream and strawberries.
