Chinioti Matka Ghosht "Kunna"

Ingredients: | |
1 kg | mutton |
1 cup | banaspati ghee |
1 tbsp | chilly powder |
1/2 tsp | haldi |
1 tbsp | mix in 1/2 cup water Ginger and garlic paste |
1 tsp | black zeera |
1/2 tsp | ajinomoto |
2 tsp | coriander powder |
Salt to taste | |
1 | onion, (paste) |
1/2 cup | mixed with water flour |
1 cup | yoghurt |
Method:
1.In a matki pot, put Ginger and garlic paste then add ghee mutton, chilly powder, coriander powder, salt, haldi and chopped onion.
2.Cover with lid and cook till the water dries.
3.Then stir-fried (roast) it well and add enough water, about 2-3 cups for meat to get tender.
4.When meat is half done, roast it again then add flour paste.
5.Stirring continuously, then add crushed black zeera and ajinomoto.
6.Cook for 1/2 hour and remove Matka ghosht from fire.
7.It can also be cooked in a wok.
